“My name is Mimi and one thing you can say about my man Stevie J is he’s got a pretty smooth talk,” she says about the man who’s worked with Jay Z. They’ve been together 15 years and have a 2-year-old daughter and she’s been through a lot and she’s seen it all.
He took her on a surprise, and that surprise was a new house. “So you want to move us way out here while you’re doing you in the city,” Mimi said, saying he’s getting way more than money in the studio. “You keep saying all the wrong s*&t. You keep saying this is for you, not us.” Stevie J says that’s not where he’s at right now, wanting to come home to her. “I’m sick of trying to be nice,” he says, when she balks on accepting the house.
She’s not ungrateful, she just wants his presence.
Erica and Little Scrappy
The new girl was an Atlanta chick named Diamond, who got with Soulja Boy and sent Scrappy home to Erica.
“I feel the love, but it ain’t clicking on that end,” he says, saying that Erica’s not that affectionate. She tells him it’s hard to trust him after he cheated on her and betrayed her with Diamond.
K Michelle rocks out with her what out?
J. Que is her producer, and K. Michelle needs that breakout record, she says, with that beautiful Christian cross around her neck. She can blow. Sounds good with the singing against that mic, singing about bearing her heart so she won’t hurt in the end.
Mimi’s friend Ariane tries to talk sense into her
Mimi talks with her friend Ariane, who tries to convince her that she’s a woman with so much potential that it hurts to see Stevie J. just taking advantage of Mimi by wanting to just buy her a house and let him “do his thing” and pretend to be working and not coming home each night.Block Studios in Kirkwood is the place where Stevie J was — with Joseline Hernandez, a woman who kind of looks like Rihanna to me, but a little harder.
“You got me working out like an animal,” she says, admitting that “it’s not about the sex” so you know they are together in that way. She’s tired of stripping, and she wants Stevie forever.
“It’s for my brains,” she says. Wow. This reminds me of an episode of a show about a love triangle that I watched last night that ended in a sad murder.
Momma Dee is the mother of Scrappy
So there’s Momma Dee — who kind of reminded me of Jim Jones’ mother when I first saw her.Lil Scrappy says his mother just pops off without thinking. She used to pimp and sell dope back in the day. She said she had to be hardcore, because she had kids she had to take care.
Erica had a mother who was on crack cocaine growing up, and Erica wants a family unit. She was there when stuff broke out with Scrappy and Diamond — a woman who Momma Dee really dogged out, saying stuff I don’t even want to write much less repeat.
K. Michelle meets with Rasheda…
…and they talk about a guy who K. signed with Jive Records with who had big arms — who ended up beating her.“It’s me!” she kept screaming to the guy, so he would stop beating her. With $2 million, he bought chains, rings and everything else out of her recording budget — and didn’t spend any money on her album.
She was beat up and said nobody helped her. K Michelle said she was crazy, but she got out and is starting out. I pray God blesses her.
Back to Momma Dee and Erica, her potential future daughter-in-law, who says that she is showing her man love by taking him back after Diamond kicked him to the curb.
Then Momma Dee starts yelling at Erica, saying that she was raised by an Aunt (not ant, right?) — but Erica gave it right back to her — calling her 48 and alone.
Momma Dee is really a drama queen. On the throne, as she says. She missed her calling. Erica said she can be crazy when it comes to her son. Have you took your medicine today? Erica asks.
The Bottle Bar in Buckhead
That was the location of the meeting with Stevie J and his baby momma, who tried to explain that if he wanted to be close to her, he would’ve gotten her a place closer to him at the studio.
“How about you set up a studio in the house?” she asks. I knew you was going to go there, he said, promising to come home more.
Sometimes I wish I didn’t love him so damn much, she says, saying that Stevie is too cute to stay made at. But oh boy, just wait till the next scene, whereby a woman calls Joseline “ride or die for her man…Stevie J is her man.” Whoops!
Nope, Stevie J is her man, she corrects, pointing to Mimi, who ultimately gives Stevie the ultimatum that he better not get in that car with Joseline.
Karlie’s boyfriend is Antonio Reid, son of L.A. Reid
Karlie can do a whole Jamaican rap, which she spits for Stevie J and Joseline, who was all over him.“I’ll be right there with him,” Joseline said, saying they could have a foursome and the girls have to workout on the treadmill to keep the bodies right.
So of course Karlie assumed Joseline was Stevie J’s woman and artists. “Man-ager,” Antonio said.
I had no idea that Mimi knew K. Michelle, said one woman in the video. “You don’t have to tell me, I seen it,” she says when she busted out what she saw the day before. Then in walks Stevie J with Joseline right on cue. Then he gets in the car with Joseline, and claims that he was looking for his baby mama instead. Right.
Sadness. Joseline throws a drink after Stevie after he runs after Mimi. She was acting all like “we kissed?” trying to take up and hide for him. What a mess. And Stevie tried to blame it on Carla.
Meanwhile, Joseline looks like a chameleon with all those different looks — a long, long weave that makes her look more feminine. But then when she wears short hair and that scarf, she looks more like a man.
Stevie J. left with Joseline and pushed the camera down.
Upcoming episodes show that Joseline might be pregnant. Stevie J asks whose baby it is. Yikes.
