Update: Students who attended middle school with Joseline Hernandez say she is a woman, and they pulled up this pic, which says “Joseline” not “Joe” — and reported that she had a twin brother named “Jose” — and said that’s where the confusion may have come from:

Wow, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is really bringing the drama — and it just got started!


First off, if you look at the videos of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta you’ll see the love triangle drama between Stevie J. and his baby’s mother named Mimi — and a third chick named Joseline Hernandez.


“She looks like Prince,” one guy said when first seeing that intro video of Joseline with the strong jawline and face, and her hair cut short.


“She’s just so hard,” said another viewer of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, a show already so popular that when VH1 uploaded the first full episode, the video received more than 70,000 views in two short days.


Well, now comes the allegations from a high school friend of Joseline’s that she was in fact born a man — “Joe” — a guy whose yearbook photo a reader of Sandra Rose’s claims to have, and delivered the scanned proof to her, but begged the blogger not to publish it:

I have solid proof that “Joseline Hernandez” of ‘Love Hip Hop Atlanta’ was born a man. “Joe” and I went to the same high school. That post has already pulled a whopping 241 comments and counting, with folks saying it’s obvious Joseline was a man.

So if Joseline is really a man, what’s up with that pregnancy scare tactic on Love and Hip Atlanta coming episodes?

So what was with that whole scene with the tears and pregnancy testing stick and Stevie J asking Joseline if the baby is his?


Was it all just a ruse to try and get him to stay with Joseline when Stevie J is obviously trying to get back with Mimi and she has him thrown out of the house?


And if she had a sex change, was it that unnoticeable that Stevie J couldn’t tell when they hooked up? Does he know she’s allegedly a man or what?


I just thought that Joseline was really hard, coming from that stripper background and lifestyle, but the way she sat in front of Stevie J in that recording studio and then leaned back was very man-like.

Somebody will come out with the high school yearbook photos of “Joe” if this is really true…

…and I pray for Joseline’s safety no matter what.

This would be the ultimately comeuppance for the situation, seeing as though Stevie J was trying to play Mimi against Joseline and try and be with both of them at the same time. Imagine if he found out in the machismo world of rap and hip hop if he discovered he was sleeping with a man.


I think that Joseline may want to get far away from Atlanta and retreat with God and let Him help her now, like He helps me every day! Draw near to God and He will draw near to you, for real.


This whole thing reminds me a little bit of the movie Boys Don’t Cry, but in reverse.


It was based on a true story, and told the tale of Brandon Teena — a woman born with the name Teena Brandon — who tried to live her life as a man, and ended up getting horribly abused and suffered a tragic end.


It was sad.


I don’t want to see that happen in this case, so I pray that Joseline can just get away from the whole situation, and if it’s meant to be, that Stevie J learn his lesson from all of this and go back to Mimi (if she’ll take him back) because it seems like she really has his back and just wants to be with him.


Mimi has deep love for Stevie J, and is charmed by his boyish wit and charisma, but that can only take you so far. Cue R. Kelly’s “When A Woman’s Fed Up” song right here… (He should know.)


Anyway, Mimi proved she wasn’t a gold-digger by saying that she didn’t care if they lived in a two-bedroom apartment or a studio apartment — she just wanted to be with Stevie J.


Meanwhile, there’s a video interview with the cast of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta (watch out, not safe for work language) wherein Joseline is asked if she’s a transgender person, and another woman claims she’s seen Joseline au natural — but the interviewer says that doesn’t mean anything.


Next Joseline claims she’s been pregnant before, so I don’t know. Something just isn’t right here:



Meanwhile, both Stevie J and Joseline are still popping off on Twitter, but I think Stevie J should realize what a good woman he has in Mimi, who looks like a classy chick.
