For Erica, Kim prepped a wig that was 22 inches long with a little blonde in the front to highlight her face. Erica hadn’t worn hair that long in a good minute, but it was definitely long enough for her to whip around.
Erica has some good tossing and throwing hair when she sings, explains Kim Kimble.
Pony tail hair? That’s not what we’re gonna start with, says Kim, who had to quickly pull Erica’s wig off and take her own natural hair and pull it up and get shape into it and go with the flow.
“Oh Jesus,” Kimble calls, getting bobby pins and an ETA of 5 minutes to get Eric swinging with the phony tail and going. “She” feels secure, meaning the pony tail.
