The below video of Robert Zimmerman, the father of George Zimmerman, is more than 19 minutes long.
The man speaks in shadow like they do those people who appear on 60 Minutes and don’t want to be seen. No wonder, with the violent threats surrounding them.
Again, this is a sad case with a lot of back and forth and so much information about all parties still being released. Some say it was Trayvon Martin screaming for help — others are saying it was George.
“George was going to the store. He saw someone in his community as someone he did not recognize as living there walking behind the town homes,” says Robert Zimmerman, who says he’s never heard George utter a racial slur — and claims he doesn’t believe Trayvon was on the phone with his girlfriend at the time.
However, those cell phone records should be easy to obtain — and I’m sure have already been obtained.
George Zimmerman said he hasn’t seen the surveillance video of his son appearing uninjured — strange, seeing as though he could easily watch it and comment on it.
He apologized for all the hate going around, but chose his words carefully.
