Actress Gabrielle Union is shown in the below video finally addressing the madness that broke out back in 2009 when some “nameless” athlete’s wife talked about Union allegedly going after her husband and then writing that D. Wade was just some hapless chap who’s being fooled by Gabby, whom she calls promiscuous.
Most places have taken the letter down after Union’s lawyers threatened them to take down the lies because as Gabrielle admits in the below video, it hurt her career — and that’s the way she pays for her family.
“D’s not writing those checks,” she said.
Gabrielle started seeing Dwayne after he was divorced, not before, they say, trying to set the record straight.
Sounds like a lot of jealousy was inside the person who crafted that letter in the first place, and not enough responsibility placed on the men.
And now that Union and Wade have been together three years since it was written, hopefully it’s all water under the bridge now.
