It’s pretty amazing when you see an idea that God gave you come to life — when someone else enacted it.
Walking around my favorite park in Ohio, and soaking up the gorgeous maple trees and magnolia trees and such, I thought about having an indoor park similar to that to visit during the winter months and rainy days as well.
Lo and behold, while watching the latest episode of Tia and Tamera’s reality TV showon the Style Network, I see the sisters visit a place called “Park Here” in New York, and I thought at first the California sisters had mistaken a car parking place for a park.
But no, they were correct. It’s a fake park. With fake trees and stuff. I want my park to be real with real grass and trees and plants tended well indoors.

Tia and Tamera joked and wondered about whether or not they had a band there. One of them said they wouldn’t bring their dog there to crap on the floor. I don’t know if they allow that anyway.

The trees are plastic foliage stapled to wooden trunks. The sunlight emanates from light boxes designed to treat seasonal affective disorder. The birds chirp through a sound system. The park occupies the Openhouse Gallery through the end of the month and is open to the public every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
