There’s a joke that’s going viral on YouTube that has people talking and talking today.
And of course, with a title on YouTube that reads “Obama’s ORAL SEX Joke About His WIFE ‘Michelle Doesn’t Go All The Way Down‘,” it’s no wonder the video has ended up on YouTube’s trending videos list.
With more than 7,485 views as of this writing, the video was just uploaded on June 7, 2012, and is gaining in dislikes.
But what does President Obama say in the video that’s causing the controversy?
Well, he begins referencing Ellen DeGeneres, and a push-up contest that First Lady Michelle and the talk show host underwent, a YouTube video that went viral in its own right after it was uploaded on February 2, 2012.
The video has received more than 1,168,000 million views — and in it, viewers can see that perhaps Michelle didn’t actually go all the way down.
Back to President Obama.
“I want to thank my wonderful friend who accepts a little bit of teasing about Michelle beating her in push-ups,” he said. “I think she claims that Michelle didn’t go all the way down.”
And that’s where the controversy about the double entendre begins.
“That’s what I heard,” President Obama says with a straight poker face that one could either describe as angry at the thought of joking about his wife in that manner — or one that was in on the joke.
Or perhaps, he didn’t realize the reason for the extra laughing at all.
“So, the…uh…I just want to set the record straight that Michelle outdoes me in push-ups as well,” he concluded.
Having witnessed President Obama singing Rev. Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” in another YouTube video that went viral earlier this year, we know our Commander in Chief has a good sense of humor.
And having watched President Obama joke about everything from Joe Biden’s F-bomb to Jay Leno, the Jonas Brothers and Sarah Palin and more at the 2010 White House Correspondents’ dinner with ease, we know he’s a funny fellow.
But this is seemingly the first time a joke has hit so personally close to home.
One wonders what the fall out will be.
